About the Rug:

Carly, originally from the Boston area, has been immersed in art throughout her life, starting with detailed graphite illustrations and evolving into intricate ink drawings focused on realism and fine detail.

Her work is deeply influenced by her love for animals, nature, and the ocean, shaped by her childhood as an equestrian and her time as a dive master. After spending nearly a decade in Charleston, her artistic vision was further enriched by the vibrant colors and textures of the coastal life there—its sunsets, waterways, and lush landscapes—which now infuse her pieces with a dynamic, lively energy.

With her journey spanning the East Coast, Carly's work beautifully blends natural beauty, movement, and vibrant coastal influences.
